PURPOSE:
The “Youth Zone” is a site dedicated to youth leadership and development, with a focus on Christian views. The zone is split up into three sub-zones named Kids (ages 3 – 9); Tween’s (ages 10 – 13); and Teenagers and Young Adults (ages 14+). Through a mixture of games, activities, videos, and resources, the “Youth Zone” strives to help our youth have a safe place by which to learn, play, and research, in an environment that’s safe and focused on empowerment. This zone is for all of our children so please feel free to suggest additional content to be added to the site by simply sending an email to Youth Zone Content.
(Ages 3 – 9)
KIDS ZONE:
The “Kids Zone” is focused on helping kids learn more about Christ, the bible, and how the teachings of the bible can be applied to everyday life. The primary method utilized in this zone is the use of easy to read text, large graphics, bright colors, and easy to follow activities, games, and videos.
(Ages 10 – 13)
ZONE DESCRIPTION:
The “Tween’s Zone” is focused on helping adolescent youth gain answer to questions about Christ, about Christianity, and how the teachings of the bible can be applied in their everyday life. This is accomplished through the use of video’s, games, online research databases, and by connecting youth with the various youth based ministries within the church, so that they have a way to be apart of Christian based activities. In addition to Christian and biblical content, the zone will also focus on activities that help empower our youth in the areas of education, as well as news at home and abroad.
(Ages 14+)
ZONE DESCRIPTION:
The “Teenagers & Young Adults Zone” is focused on helping our Teenagers and Young Adults gain a better understanding of the word through the use of virtual bibles, videos, games, interviews, and Christian based news from around the globe. In an effort to empower our youth and young adults, resources will also be made available that will help them in the realm of grade school education, college, and self improvement. Above all, this zone will focus on helping them understand that their lives matter, and that they should strive to use the blessing of life to give back to their community and the world at large.
