Mark your calendar for the Valentine’s Sweetheart Engagement Dinner to be held Sat., Feb. 17th at 5 P.M. in the Nehemiah House. This will be a semi-formal event, but dress with intent to actively participate, engage, have fun, learn, and enjoy the evening with your significant other. There is a $30 charge per couple to attend which will include your meal and a parting gift. Please register and pay by Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 with Sis. Tawanna Patterson. The Wellness Ministry is sponsoring a trip to the Richmond Women’s Health and Fitness Expo on Sat., Feb. 3rd from 10:00 A.M.—3:00 P.M. at the Richmond Convention Center. This year’s expo will feature presentations from leading health experts in Richmond. Learn how to prevent heart disease, achieve permanent weight loss and protect yourself against cancer. There will also be free health screenings, fun activities and information on products and services relating to healthy living. Please notify Sis. Rocky Reed by Jan. 29th, if you plan to attend. The Wellness Ministry will pay the cost of general admission and arrange transportation if needed.
The Vessels of Praise will be selling grilled hot dogs with chips and drinks on next 3rd Sun. (January 21st) after the service. Please come out and support this fundraiser; donations are welcome!
